Great machine

We finally got to try out our new masher and press. They are excellent. Both work well and are very well made. The short legs on the press are not an issue. Probably a plus if kids are involved. A shallow catch pan is all we needed. Very happy we bought this one.

Adding to my review

PS we placed the blocks on their sides for more height when pressing instead of flat and pressed.from full to the half way point.

7.9 gal is great

Works like a charm. We screwed it to a pallet, fill it to the top with two 5 gallon buckets of ground apples. We end up with 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 gallons of cider per press. We have 10 gallons now and have another 10 gallons to go. I will invest in a bladder press next.

Works well but screws a little loose

I made my first batch of apple cider with this fruit press. It worked well enough but I found the screws don't hold all that well. I'll need to pre drill and re-attach a few sections after my first use.

Wine press

Assembly was relatively simple. Have not used it yet as elderberries not ready for a couple weeks yet. But by appearance and function I anticipate some pleasurable squeezing!
